IDENTITY / DIGITAL / PRINT
HY Design
A recognizable and extensible visual system for Hongyi Honor College theatre—from identity and recruitment to performance campaigns and digital experiences.
Every theatre initiative, recognized as part of one whole.
HY Design uses a unified grid, typographic hierarchy, and identity logic as its stable foundation, while color, imagery, and motion adapt to different productions and audiences—creating a shared structure that is clear, human-centered, and forward-looking.
From the drama club identity, recruitment, and social content to annual productions, interactive invitations, and printed tickets, we want each touchpoint not only to speak for itself, but also to form a complete, continuous visual identity for Hongyi theatre when seen together.
SYSTEM
One set of rules, many stages.
We developed a set of Visual Design Guidelines for Hongyi Honor College’s theatre initiatives. The mark, typography, graphic devices, and color create a stable identity foundation and a flexible system of rules. Each event can take on its own character while remaining recognizably Hongyi.
COMMUNICATION
From the everyday to the stage.
The new visual system gives every asset a shared information hierarchy and set of visual cues, spanning posters, large-format graphics, roll-up banners, and on-site wayfinding. Built on a grid system, it creates a consistent and unified experience with a high degree of recognition, whether encountered on screen or in physical space.
APPLICATIONS
Digital applications
Bringing consistency into the live experience.
We believe Hongyi Honor College’s ideal of humanistic cultivation should be expressed in every detail. Our work therefore introduces humanistic elements without compromising clarity or recognition. A shared information structure adapts across contexts through scale, material, and color, connecting digital invitations, campus communication, arrival, and memory into one complete experience.
